Building Your SiteSite settings
Site settings
Every website has its own Settings: what the site is called, which languages it publishes, its design system, its paid features, who works on it, and how and where it is published. Open them from the editor's view switcher, or with Settings on the site's card in the Hub. For settings that follow you everywhere, see Settings.
What's in a site's settings
The sidebar has three groups.
Configuration
- General — the site's name, description, favicon and tags, and which of its languages are published. Renaming the site doesn't change its Uniweb address — see Domains.
- Foundation — the design system's current version, and a newer build of it when there is one. The change takes effect when you publish. See Foundations and templates.
- Features — the optional capabilities this site can have, such as Site Search, Form Submissions, Integrated Analytics and live records, each switched on or off. You can try them in the editor freely; what they cost is shown, and asked for, when you publish. See Site pricing.
- App Services — where the deployment offers them: a backend for the site, bought by level.
- Collaboration — who works on this site and in what role, and the site's seats. See Collaborators and seats.
Hosting
- Deploy — whether the site is published, when it was last published, and Publish, Republish or Unpublish. See Publishing your site.
- Domain — the site's Uniweb address and your own domains. See Domains.
Billing
- Overview — what the site costs and the card it charges, with Change card, Switch to yearly, and Cancel subscription.
- Invoices — the charges for this site.
The Billing group is hidden for a site that an organization hosts free. See Billing.
At the top right of the settings is the Site menu: Publish (or Republish) is always at hand there, and Delete site… removes the site for good — see Creating a website for what deleting needs first.
