Account and plans
Your Uniweb account is free. What your workspace can hold — storage, and translation — comes with a free allowance, and you add capacity only if you need more. This page covers the workspace; for what it costs to publish a site, see Site pricing.
Current prices are on uniweb.app/pricing, and the app shows the price before you buy anything. This page explains how the pieces fit together, not the numbers.
Free by default
You can use Uniweb without paying: create an account, build as many site drafts as you like, and explore. The only limit is your workspace's storage — each site counts toward it, along with your content and uploaded files. Settings → Usage shows what your workspace holds and what it is allowed.
If storage runs out, you can still edit what you have; uploading, creating a new site and starting from a template wait until there is room.
What you can add
There are no paid account tiers. You add capacity in packs, from Settings → Usage → Add capacity, monthly or yearly, as many as you need (once you hold packs, the same dialog is titled Change your plan):
- Extra Storage — room for more content, files and sites.
- Translation Credits — machine translation of your sites' content. Credits are counted in characters of the text you send to be translated, and your allowance refills each month. See Translating content.
Collaborators are not part of your account: an editor on a site in your personal workspace needs a seat on that site, and in an organization membership is the seat. See Collaborators and seats. An organization's administrators buy its seats in Settings → Members → Buy seats.
Workspace vs. site
They are billed separately:
| Your workspace | A site | |
|---|---|---|
| What it covers | Storage and translation | Keeping that site live, and its features |
| Free | Yes — a free allowance | Drafts are free; publishing needs a subscription |
| Billing | Packs, if you add any | One subscription per published site |
An organization has its own allowance and packs. A sub-organization uses its top organization's: its usage page says the pool is shared by every organization in the tree, and Add capacity appears only at the top. Only an organization's administrators see its usage.
